Through 2024 By CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Renewed

CBS has recharged its long-running top daytime dramatization The Young and the Restless for four additional years, taking it through 2024.

The huge, straight-forward restoration of The Young and the Restless, from Sony Pictures Television, remains interestingly with the sensational, last possible minute one-season recharging for the Sony TV-disseminated daytime dramatization Days Of Our Lives at NBC which was at long last finished and declared yesterday following quite a while of exchanges.

With the recharging, The Young and the Restless joins its buddy in the CBS daytime lineup, the CBS TV Studios-supported cleanser The Bold and the Beautiful, which is a year into a three-year pickup through the 2022.

“Having the #1 show for any length of time in any daypart is a tremendous accomplishment,” said Kelly Kahl, President, CBS Entertainment.

“But The Young and the Restless has been daytime’s top drama for over three decades. The last time any other show was on top, Ronald Reagan was president and the Berlin Wall was still standing. It’s a remarkable achievement and a testament to the extraordinary cast, gifted writers, talented producers, and supremely passionate fans, as well as our tremendous partnership with Sony Pictures Television.”

The Young and the Restless as of now drives all other daytime dramatizations in watchers (4.11 million), ladies 25-54 (1.0) and ladies 18-49 (0.6).

“We are thrilled to continue the legacy of The Young and the Restless at CBS, as this renewal will take us to our 50th anniversary in 2023, and beyond,” included Steve Kent, Senior EVP, Programming, Sony Pictures Television.

“The iconic characters created by William J. Bell and Lee Philip Bell 47 years ago continue to captivate audiences in the U.S. and across the globe, and we look forward to building on the dynamic storylines featuring these beloved characters.”

In spite of testing financial matters activated by declining direct TV evaluations in throughout the day parts, every one of the three communicate daytime dramatizations are set to return next season. Sony TV co-produces Days Of Our Lives, reestablished for a 56th season, with Corday Productions.

Made by William J. Ringer and Lee Phillip Bell, The Young and the Restless spins around the loves, hostilities, expectations and fears of the occupants of the anecdotal Midwestern town of Genoa City.

The arrangement stars Marla Adams, Lauralee Bell, Peter Bergman, Donny Boaz, Eric Braeden, Tracey Bregman, Sasha Calle, Sharon Case, Doug Davidson, Sean Dominic, Melissa Claire Egan, Cait Fairbanks, Camryn Grimes, Mark Grossman, Amelia Heinle, Elizabeth Hendrickson, Bryton James, Tyler Johnson, Christel Khalil, Hunter King, Christian J.
